Form follows...plot!
We used the unusual shape of the plot as inspiration to create the shape of the house. Curved walls on one side respond to the twisty street and the straight line on the other side is defined by a little canal. This resulted in an unexpected volume that fits like a glove on the narrowing plot, optimizing the size of the garden.
Form follows...plot!
Rammed earth has been used in construction for thousands of years. This facade in combination with a timber frame structure allows the house to breath naturally. The vapor open rammed earth walls help to create healthy indoor climate.
