A big challenge in redesigning building A7, was finding the balance between heritage and the new architecture that accommodates 6 families. By focusing the new expansion on the south side of the building, it can accommodate everything the building was lacking: large south facing windows, private winter gardens, sunny outdoor balconies and additional space for upstairs bedrooms. This meant we could leave the other facades untouched, therefor maintaining the character of the existing building.
